Musical Gem of pollywood- Amrinder gill

A recognizable voice in the World of music who is skilled in genre of Bhangra music,  sad songs and romantic  vocals is Amrinder Gill. He is deep seated in Boorchand in Amritsar on 11 May 1976. After penetrating into the music world he is given a denomination ‘ Ammy’.

From his tender age he was keen to learn music but he was unable to recognise this as a profession. He completed his post graduation in agriculture science from Khalsa college Amritsar.  Being unaware of how to start musical career and lacking the platform he firstly worked in a bank but as he was inclined towards music and wants to apprehend its nuances he stepped in pollywood. As he has also performed in various singing and dancing events during his college life. He has cherished the hearts of tender age with his Punjabi vocals which also took hold over desi lovers of music.

Unique thing about him is that he does  not have any musical background during his upbringing.  Despite of that he proved himself. So he is a man of his own endeavor.

He has the ability to mould the painful emotions through his lyrics in a refreshing manner.He has blended the folk rooted songs with up-tempo dance by using his extraordinary skills.

His first song ' Kala Doria'  sung for Jalandhar Doordarshan program which was a live event able to draw the attention of music lovers. Then his first album 'Apni jaan k' in 2000 marked his memorable entry in the music world.  Through this album music world has received a new gem which raised the pollywood to best possible heights. His blockbuster track ' Mel krade'  came into limelight as it became the hand- picked song of that time. It was followed by evergreen tracks like Paigaam, Daru, Madhaania, Dildarian etc. One of the most blooming and fruitful album was 'Judai' in 2012 which grabbed the award for best music album of that year. Subsequent to this , its sequel Judai-2 in 2014 was tantamount to the previous one.  After this he was at the top of the ladder of success.

After recognising and realising his acting skills he debuted in his first Punjabi motion ' Mundey UK de' which was directed by Manmohan Singh in 2009 but that was in a supporting role. This was not the end of his curb and he was seen in ' Ik Kudi  Punjab di ' in a lead role directed by the collequal director in 2012 with Suvreen chawla and Ranvijay whose outcomes were below average.  After that getting through the nuances of acting he performed in movies like Tu mera 22mai tera 22, Saadi love story,  Daddy cool mundey fool etc which were applauded to a great extent by folks and critics.  His sans pareil performance till now is in ' Angrez' in 2015 in which he enacted a terrific role which got bloviate reviews.

He was nominated for the best actor award thrice.  For 'Judai' he has won the Award for most romantic ballad of the year. In 2015 his track 'Mera Deewanapan' was also nominated for bequeathing the most popular song of the year. So he is bestowed with an array of laurels.

This man of innocent visage wants to make alive his deep rooted Pujabi culture by the passable of his vocals. He is one of the precious bauble of Punjabi music industry.
